When calling for support or to have a technician scheduled to come to your site please be sure to have your computer's
serial # and warranty date which are located on the Pelican Computer label on the top and/or back of the computer. It will
look similar to this...

Quick Tips
Monitor Won't Power On
1. Check the plug at the wall. If it is plugged into a surge strip make sure that is plugged in and on.
2. Check the plug on the back of the monitor. Make sure it is pushed in all of the way.
3. Try plugging it into another socket.
4. Try connecting it to another computer.
Computer Won't Power On
1. Check the plug at the wall. If it is plugged into a surge strip make sure that is plugged in and on.

3. If there is a switch on the power supply make sure the l is pressed down not the O.
4. Try plugging it into another socket.
Can't Logon To The Network
1. Check the network cable at the wall.
2. Check the network cable on the back of the computer. Some have a green light to verify
the connection.
3. Make sure the information on the logon screen is correct. You can verify this by looking on a
machine that is working properly.
a. Novell
Make sure the username, password, tree, context, and server are set correctly.
b. Windows
Make sure the username, password, and domain are set correctly.
